Local production company Lansdowne Productions has had its film A MASSACRE FORETOLD selcted for inclusion at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival. In fact, it is the only Scottish full length feature documentary screening in this year’s festival.

Screening times for A MASSACRE FORETOLD at EIFF 2007 are :

- Friday 17 August at 9.15am in Filmhouse 3 Document Section (Industry Screening)
- Sunday 19 August at 1.30pm in Filmhouse 3 Document Section (Public Screening)
- Thursday 23 August at 7.00pm in Filmhouse 2 Document Section (Public Screening)

A MASSACRE FORETOLD recounts the tragic killing of 45 Mayans in Southern Mexico in December 1997.

Screening with A MASSACRE FORETOLD is the short companion piece, MENTIRAS (Lies) - a visually stunning journey through Mexico City, MENTIRAS is the story of a troubled conscience and the rupturing of official lies.
