GMAC are offering 10 talented people the chance to be part of the most INNOVATIVE, INCLUSIVE and INDUSTRY- FOCUSED training you’re going to find in Scotland.
2ND LIGHT is an opportunity for young people to develop creative and practical filmmaking skills through training, work placements, mentoring and short film production. The purpose is to encourage film-making talent from ethnic groups who are underrepresented in the British film industry in order to make the industry more representative of the UK’s population.
GMAC are seeking applicants who:
• are members of settled/long standing ethnic minority groups
• belong to visible minority ethnic groups
• are migrants from Central & Eastern Europe
• belong to the Gypsy/Traveller community
The programme is fully funded and supported by industry partners and will run 2 days a week from January 2010 until March 2011.
