ThinkSync Films are offering a wide selection of music from prestigious independent record labels for young film makers to use for free in this unique short film competition. The competition runs annually, and the culminating screening event in London offers excellent exposure for the finalists and an invaluable networking opportunity for those that attend- this year is part of the Rushes Soho Shorts 10th Year Anniversary and is in association with Shooting People and MTV2.
In a nutshell - ThinkSync Films offer free music for students to use in their film and the top prize is £1000. ALL entrants to the competition will automatically receive a years membership to www.shootingpeople.org (largest online Indie film community)
Previous winners have gone onto land agents and distribution deals as a result of the competition. Last years winning film ‘BigBoy_74′ went on to win the BBC3 Newcomer Film Award 2007
