In 2009 Glasgow Film Office established The Glasgow Film Partnership; a collaborative organisation between the creative industries involved in location filming in Glasgow and the public and private stakeholders most affected by their activities. The partnership is intended to promote Glasgow?s ?film-friendly? reputation by ensuring a network of co-operation and support from all signatories. The initiative sets out to ensure that filming happens as easily and effectively as possible so that production companies have a positive experience of filming here and return for their next project. Gerard Butler, Glasgow Film Office?s Ambassador adds his support ?I wish the office every success in the launch of the Glasgow Film Partnership and hope the benefits of this new initiative will lead to increased production in the city very soon"

Each of the organisations listed below has a dedicated member of staff who will deal with filming requests and will operate a transparent filming application process.
