Filmed in Glasgow in early 2012, Filth is the screen adaptation of Irvine Welsh's bestselling novel. Directed by Jon S Baird, Filth stars Glasgow's own James McAvoy as Detective Sergeant Bruce Robertson, a man who goes to any length to gain a promotion. The film also stars Jamie Bell, Jim Broadbent, Eddie Marsan and Imogen Poots and is on general release in Scotland from 27th September 2013, going UK wide the following week.
